About the role:
Are you an experienced accounts professional looking for a flexible part-time role? We are seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to join our team. This role involves managing our Accounts Payable processes and ensuring all vendor invoices are processed and paid on time maintaining a high level of accuracy to avoid any discrepancies or late fees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payment.
- Verify invoice accuracy and match to purchase orders.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all Accounts Payable transactions.
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
- Assist with payroll processing and accounts receivable tasks during staff absences.
- Support month-end closing and annual audit processes.
- Continuously seek to improve Accounts Payable processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Accounts Payable or a similar accounting role.
- Familiarity with payroll and accounts receivable processes.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience in Business Central preferred.
