Are you an experienced Accounts Officer with a keen eye for detail and a passion for real estate? We are currently seeking a skilled Accounts Officer to join a dynamic team at a leading real estate office located in Maroochydore.
As an Accounts Officer, you will play a critical role in managing the financial operations of the office, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across various functions. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a strong background in accounts, trust account management, accounts receivable, we want to hear from you!
Remuneration:
The remuneration for this position is Up to $75,000 plus superannuation per annum, depending on qualifications, skills, and experience.
Responsibilities:

• Oversee Trust Account of the real estate office, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and legal regulations
• Mid/end of month preparation
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations
• Maintain and reconcile trust accounts, ensuring compliance with trust account regulations and legislation
• Process receipting, ensuring accurate calculations, deductions, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience as an Accounts Officer or similar role within the real estate industry
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and relevant legislation
• Work stability across previous work history
• Experience with trust accounting and property management software is preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Exceptional organisational and time management abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
