We're seeking a meticulous and dynamic Accounts Officer to come onboard to our company's financial operations team. This is your chance to ensure accurate invoicing, streamlined expense management, and insightful reporting – all of which fuel our business success!
🛠 Responsibilities
- Invoicing Management: You'll set up new accounts, onboard us as a vendor, and ensure invoices flawlessly reflect usage information. Plus, you'll proactively manage subscriptions, always keeping them in sync with client product changes.
- Expense Management: You'll develop and enforce our expense process. Think categorizing receipts, reconciling accounts, and centralising our software subscriptions. Plus, you'll deliver monthly expense vs. budget reports and analyze spending patterns.
- Debtor Management: Your proactive follow-up will keep our cash flow healthy.
- Reporting: Compile board reports, create customer revenue reports with supporting data models, and ensure integrations are working for seamless expense reporting.
- Streamlining Process: You'll streamline our contract-to-subscription process and find even better ways for us to boost upsells and cross-sells.
🙌 Qualifications and Fit
- 3+ Years a Must: We need someone who's ready to step in and own this role from day one.
- Qualifications: Ideally, a commerce degree and either having or working towards a postgraduate qualification (CA/CPA).
- Attention to Detail: Accuracy is the foundation of everything you'll do.
- Growth Mindset: You're excited about the challenge as much as the results.
- Xero: You must be proficient in using Xero and be tech savvy to use other SaaS software
