Accounts Payable OfficerNEP is Australia's leading provider of outsourced television production services.We are always looking for great people to join our team; people with a passion for people and team work helping us deliver exceptional results for our clients.We currently have a great opportunity for a Sydney based Accounts Payable Officer to join our team in a full-time permanent position.Accounts Payable OfficerAccounts Payable Officer is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of invoices, in accordance with relevant accounting, regulatory and internal standards and procedures.Essential Responsibilities
- Ensure appropriate sign off and accurate coding of all supplier invoices.
- Responsible for preparing and reconciling travel and Cabcharge accounts.
- Assist in preparing and reconciling corporate credit card statements from individual invoices to full statement
- PO matching, Enter invoices into the Finance System, ensure correct GL, Job Coding, GST allocation and agree to the Job Management System.
- Assist in maintaining customer and supplier accounts in the Finance System.
- Assist in preparing weekly online payments including all supporting documentation for review by the Finance Manager including international payments when required.
- Archiving of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables documents and destruction of dated documents.
- Updating information into the Job Management System when required (e.g. creation and maintenance of freelancers)
- Assist Month end AR AP reconciliations and NAB Credit card monthly accrual
- Scanning of Accounts Payable invoices into the Finance System.
- Perform tasks as requested by any member of the Finance Team
- Comply with all Workplace Health & Safety statutory legislation and NEP's WH&S Management System; ensuring staff reporting to you are also compliant.
- Minimum 3 years Accounts Payable experience
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office products
- Experience with Technology One desired but not necessary
- Experiences working for job/project based business and in a global business environment are preferable
- Excellent time and task management, interpersonal skills and attention to details
