Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable and Receivable Clerk to join our accounts department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's financial transactions and maintaining accurate records, whilst also performing a weekly payroll run. This position will require someone who is comfortable with numbers and data, as well as performing administrative tasks when necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Process Accounts Payable and Receivable transactions.
- Record and reconcile payments received and made.
- Maintain accurate and complete financial records.
- Prepare invoices and purchase orders.
- Assist with month-end and year-end accounting processes.
- Manage and reconcile bank statements.
- Process weekly payroll and related reporting.
- Assist with general administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Accounts Payable and Receivable.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Xero accounting software.
- Knowledge of payroll processing and reporting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Location: Biggera Waters
Hours: 24 hours per week, with the option to increase.
Monday: 7:00am - 3:00pm - 8 hours.
Wednesday: 7:00am - 3:00pm - 8 hours.
Friday: 7:00am - 3:00pm - 8 hours.
