AddressWe are a Not For Profit Organisation located in Southport supporting multicultural families.. We are currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper with extensive experience in MYOB Account Right. Working 2 days one week and 3 days the next each fortnight. The days and hours are flexible and a competitive salary is offered depending on experience.
The Responsibilities:
- Prepare, compile and sort documents / invoices for data entry
- Mange payroll for up to 40 staff, including managing super and Q-leave
- Check source documents for accuracy, verify data and correct data where necessary
- BAS and Superannuation Lodgements.
- Fringe Benefits tax experience desirable.
- Ensure appropriate sign-off on all invoices by appropriate signatories prior to entry
- Enter and process suppliers invoices
- Attend to supplier queries and resolve issues relating to payment
- Check completed work for accuracy
- Print information reports as required
- Scan, File and store completed documents in designated locations
- Complete basic monthly General Ledger reconciliations e.g. Bank Accts, Petty Cash and Suspense Acct.
About You:
The successful candidate will need to possess the following attributes:
- Previous accounts payable or general accounting experience
- Competency in Excel and Word software packages
- Experience in MYOB
- Good written & verbal communication skills
- A methodical approach and a high attention to detail
- The ability to work well autonomously
