We are seeking a dynamic and experienced person to join the team in our Accounts Department as an Accounts Payable officer.
You will possess strong attention to detail, ability to process high volume invoices with accuracy, whilst ensuring company policies and procedures are followed. Similarly, you will be a focused person who thrives in a fast pace and dynamic environment, continually meets deadlines and enjoys dealing with different stakeholder groups both internal and external.
The Role
Within this role you will be responsible for but not limited to:
- High volume end to end processing of creditor invoices
- Timely processing of supplier payments
- Reconciliation of suppliers and general ledger accounts
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders as required to resolve any issues or queries.
- Assist the accounts team as required to ensure smooth functioning of the whole team.
- Other adhoc tasks required by team leader or manager.
To be successful in this position you need to demonstrate the following attributes
- Minimum 1 years hands on accounts experience
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Positive attitude with ability to build strong working relationships across various stakeholder groups.
- Prior experience in the construction industry is highly regarded
- Prior experience using DataBuild and Therefore is advantageous
