About the Role
We are currently seeking a detail orientated, fast paced Accounts Payable Officer to join our Brisbane based team on either a full time basis or part-time (3 - 4 days a week) to balance work/study and flexibility around exams if you are close to completion of your finance studies.
Based out of our brand new, state of the art office in Hamilton, you will join our efficient accounts team and will be responsible for providing support across Accounts Payable (primarily), accounts receivable and general financial administration, including;
- Receipting, processing & coding invoices
- Following up on outstanding invoices & queries
- Assisting with vendor and creditor enquiries
- Assisting in maintaining billing systems
- Performing account reconciliation
- Document management
This role could be suited to either a recent accounting graduate, looking for their initial career role or to a well-rounded generalist officer or assistant, looking for their next career move.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have;
- preferably have experience in a finance or administrative role OR be a recent finance graduate
- a high attention to detail, with the ability to work quickly & accurately to meet deadlines under pressure
- the ability to adapt to changing needs within a complex environment
- reliability and a proactive approach to work
- the tenacity to follow through all problems to resolution
- a collaborative, can-do attitude with the ability to effectively work independently or as part of a team
- MS office suite skills
- experience working and learning multiple systems quickly and with ease
- experience with automated AP Solutions (Acume/Plus One or simiiar)
