Accounts Payable Officer $37.78 P/H - Willawong

Staff Australia are currently looking an experienced Account Payable Officer for an immediate start based in Willawong, QLD.

Since 1945, our client has been involved in the distribution of Automotive products - SUVs and Utes & also tractors having 90+ dealers across Australia.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:06pm

Pay rate $37.78 per hour (please note that is this is casual position with the intent to transition perm for the right person)

Due to growth within the company, we are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Officerto join our accounts team based at Willawong. The role will involve full function, high volume Accounts Payable duties. This role is available for an immediate start.

The responsibilities

• Maintain accurate management of the Accounts Payable email inbox & distribution of incoming invoices;
• Seeking approval for processing of invoices
• High volume data entry of invoices into the Accounting system
• Reconciling creditor statements
• Prepare and process weekly, monthly and ad hoc payment runs as required
• General administration duties
• Assist with weekly/monthly reporting
• File and maintain all Accounts Payable records, invoices, statements and other relevant documentation
• Extracting / uploading data files

The successful applicant will have

• 2+ years' experience in an Accounts Payable function
• Previous experience with a large ERP system would be highly desirable
• Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise workload
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• The ability to work as part of a team, contribute ideas and knowledge share
• Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently with results driven focus;
• A high level analytical and problem solving skills;
• Proactive at making continuous improvements;
• Excellent attention to detail skills;
