Brothers Cairns is a dynamic community club dedicated to the promotion of Rugby League. With two licensed venues, the Football Club and a variety of operations within, we are a multi-faceted business offering a vibrant and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing Accounts Payable across all entities within the organization.
- Processing invoices, verifying accuracy, and ensuring timely weekly payments.
- Reconciling monthly supplier statements and resolving discrepancies.
- Maintaining daily financial records for Keno and Gaming Accounts and performing monthly reconciliations
- Reconciling company’s credit cards and maintaining all receipts
- Assisting with month-end procedures, financial reporting and end of year Audit
- Cash reconciliation, processing of daily takings
- Ordering stationery, archiving and other admin duties
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in Accounts Payable/receivable operations.
- Strong bookkeeping background is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with MYOB, Excel and or other accounting and Microsoft packages.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
