SalaryThis exceptional 100% Australian owned business is seeking a new Accounts Payable Specialist to join their current finance team on a three month contract. The Position:
As their newly appointed Accounts Payable Specialist , you will be involved in contributing to the core financial activities of the company. This position is hands on, diverse and your duties will be varied.
Main Responsibilities:
- Process paybales ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Schedule payments efficiently.
- Management of payment process including banking portal.
- Administer AP inbox effectively.
- Maintanence of Accounts Payable administration including user access.
- Perform bank reconciliations accurately.
- Update month-end creditor reports promptly.
- Generate fortnightly cashflow-treasury reports.
- Prepare month-end accrual listings.
- Conduct quarterly supplier vendor card analysis and maintenance.
Requirements :
To be successful in this role you will be degree qualified with hands on experience in a similar role. You should have strong Microsoft skills and an excellent understanding of the principles of Accounting. You will be commercially astute, hands-on, practical and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Candidates having experience with Prospend, GP or professional service industry will be looked at favourably.
