About Us:
Fire and Safety Industries is a privately-owned Australian Company specialising in the manufacture, supply, and servicing of Fire Suppression Systems. Our head office is in Brisbane, and we have branches and a distributor network across Australia and a growing network globally.
The Position:
- Process Accounts Payable and corporate expense payments, reconciliations and manage discrepancies, including involvement in the end-to-end process of entering invoices, importing the payments to the general ledger and processing payments through the banking systems.
- Complete day-to-day financial tasks and transactions including data entry, the timely and accurate processing of invoices and credits, verifying, classifying, computing, and recording Accounts Payable data, and the reconciliation of supplier accounts
- Maintain corporate Accounts Payable mailbox.
- Produce functional reports as per reporting schedule.
- Support finance team, including end of month processes.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and attributes;
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Accounts Payable.
- Professional, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced computer skills, including Excel
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both autonomously and within a team
