AddressQBC is a Queensland based civil contracting company that has successfully delivered Department of Transport and Main Roads, council, and private enterprise projects for over 25 years.
Following recent success & business growth, we have an opportunity for a highly motivated and team focused Accounts Payable Officer to join us on a permanent basis. This hands-on role will involve working with several team members to achieve quality outcomes, where accuracy and efficiency are pivotal. QBC is an organisation where taking responsibility and attention to detail are highly regarded.
Working in consultation with the Accounts Payable Supervisor and wider team, your key tasks include:
- Matching dockets to orders and supplier invoices
- Communicating with project staff regarding queries
- Accurate / prompt data entry
- Reconciling supplier accounts
- Various other administrative tasks as required
The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience with purchase order-driven accounting systems and complex computer systems including Sage. Industry experience within the civil infrastructure or construction sector is desirable but not critical. A desire to make a difference in a friendly, professional environment is essential.
This opportunity is a permanent / full-time position based in our Head Office at Sumner Park. A remuneration package in line with relevant industry / accounts experience will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
