Somerville House is a day and boarding school for girls established in 1899, providing exceptional education for students from Pre-Prep through to Year 12, with co-educational Pre-Prep offering. The Role
The Accounts Payable Officer will work collaboratively with the Finance team to provide support, co-ordination, and administration to deliver and complete accurate financial accounts processing of payments for a numerous number of stakeholders and entities associated with the School.
This is a permanent part-time position commencing from May 2024.
Holding a certificate or diploma in accounting would be highly desirable for the Accounts Payable Officer role.
About You
- Do you have a high level of experience in Accounts Payable processing – including but not limited to invoices, electronic payments?
- Have you been responsible for reconciliation of suppliers, debit and credit cards, invoices and month end?
- Do you have the ability to work autonomously and in a team environment?
- Are you an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with a high attention to detail?
- Do you have excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing great customer service?
- Do you have the ability to work under pressure and constantly meet deadlines?
