About Your Role:
As an Accounts Payable Officer at Unita, you will have the primary responsibility of end-to-end Accounts Payable process.
What your days will look like:
- Data entry: matching invoices to purchase orders and entering invoices.
- Credit card reconciliations.
- Provide high-level customer service to internal and external key stakeholders.
- Ensuring AP invoices are approved in accordance with the business's delegated authority.
- Compliance with required document control and record-keeping processes.
- Preparing and processing electronic banking files.
- Contribute to finance process development and innovation by identifying process improvements and efficiency gains for Accounts Payable-related policies and procedures.
- Responding professionally to all Supplier queries/correspondence promptly
What you will bring to the role:
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in management financial operations and account functions.
- Tertiary qualified in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or equivalent.
- Experience in Australian Construction Industry is desirable but not essential.
- Demonstrated experience with NetSuite or a similar ERP.
- Experience with Power BI is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent attention to detail whilst working to deadlines.
- High level of communication and ability to maintain internal and external relationships at all levels.
