Accounts Payable Officer

Are you an immediately available Accounts Payable Officer looking for a short-term assignment?

Our client is an established medical technologies firm listed on the ASX, dedicated to researching, developing, and delivering innovative cardiac solutions.
The finance department is currently in need of an AP Officer who can start immediately to provide support from mid-March to mid-April while the current incumbent is on leave.
Key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring all payables are processed accurately and on time
• Processing invoices for stock received, using the correct cost centre
• Ensuring that all credit notes are reviewed, matched to short payments and / or processed accurately and in a timely manner
• Reconciling of vendor statements to ensure that all aged items are addressed and followed through to resolution
• Ensuring AP month-end GL accounts are reconciled and all reconciliation items are supported by appropriate comments
• Scheduling and process vendor payments
• Managing foreign currency exchange rates.

What we are looking for:

• End-to-end Accounts Payable experience
• Ability to work autonomously
• Strong sense of ownership
• Demonstrate the ability to build strong professional relationships
• Effective and adaptive communication skills
