Accounts Payable Officer Needed, Full Time Role, Ballarat Based, $70,000+ Super
Your new company
Hays Recruitment have partnered with a well known construction organisation in Ballarat, currently going through a growth period. They require an Accounts Payable Officer to join their team on full time basis, the view is for an immediate start, and offers progression within the organisation.
Your new role
As an experienced Accounts Payable Officer you will be responsible, but not limited to the following:
Entering invoices into the Accounts Payable system
Processing payments
Matching invoices with purchase orders & resolving any queries
Liaising with suppliers regarding accounts & setting up new accounts
Reconciliations
Management of AP inbox
Performing ad hoc tasks as required by your supervisor
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally 2 Plus years of end to end Accounts Payable experience, including:
Exceptional time management and able to solve problems
Professional written and oral communication skills
Outstanding attention to detail and high level of numerical accuracy
Computer software skills, ideally including Workday, Microsoft Word & Excel
Excellent organisational and management skills
Adaptable, enthusiastic and driven
