They are on the lookout for an Accounts Payable officer to join their finance team based in Port Melbourne.
The RoleThe role involve but is not limited to:
- Ensure that all invoices are authorised by the relevant managers
- Working with an offshore AP team who process invoices and enter data
- Reconcile supplier statements in a timely and accurate manner
- Create new vendors in the system with a high degree of accuracy
- Review of invoice batches to ensure accurate data entry
- Upload and process approved expense claims
- Create and maintain appropriate procedure documentation for AP administrative tasks
- Assist with end of month AP reporting and closure as required
The Ideal Candidate
Our client believes a positive attitude is key to success! You will also have:
- A desire and willingness to learn, with strong problem-solving skills
- 2 years+ experience in a similar Accounts Payable
- Confident personality that enjoys speaking to key stakeholders
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Experience using Great Plains would be highly advantageous
- High attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills
- Fantastic training and development
- Flexible working arrangements after training (2 days from home)

- Attractive remuneration package dependent on experience (circa $65,000 - $72,000)
