AddressWork for a private family office filled with a professional team of friendly people, who enjoy each other’s company. Their holdings include a property portfolio, private lending and business investments. Due to the nature of their holdings, the work is interesting, a little different and complex. This role would suit someone who likes a peaceful environment where they can focus on doing an exceptional job whilst being challenged.
This is a newly created position, as the business is continuing to grow at a rapid rate, so you will be a very welcomed addition. This role is a minimum of 30 hours per week, ideally working four full days a week or full time.
The office is in an ideal leafy SOR location with secure on-site parking for all staff.
WHAT ARE YOU IN FOR?
As an experienced Accounts Payable Officer, you know what is expected of you, but here is a brief snapshot:
- Daily management of Accounts Payable inbox
- Processing invoices and payments in a timely manner with accuracy
- Direct entry of supplier invoices including coding and follow up of approvals.
- Keep an eye out and resolving any discrepancies and liaising with other departments with any issues.
- Data integrity – ensuring supplier master files are maintained including, updating, creating new suppliers and managing credit application forms.
- Ad hoc purchase order entry and assistance for the accountant

You like systems and processes, and enjoy finding more efficient and effective ways to work. Your attention to detail is exceptional and you are a stickler for deadlines. Aside from experience as an Accounts Payable Officer, we are seeking someone with the following:
- Experience working with intercompany accounts and multiple entities (make this clear on your resume)
- A good working knowledge of Xero or other similar accounting platforms
