Accounts Payable Officer

Their finance team plays an important role in supporting operations, enabling them to provide the best education experience possible. They are seeking a hands-on and enthusiastic Accounts Payable Officer to join their talented corporate finance team into their next phase of growth and business improvement.

The Role

• Undertake, implement and initiative improvements on all aspects of AP workflow
• Daily processing of ad hoc invoices
• Process creditors payments and general ledger entries as required
• Reconcile vendor statements
• Investigation of reconciling amounts on relevant general ledger accounts
• Apply Accounts Payable duties using the procurement platforms
• Onboarding of Suppliers as required
• Maintain processes, policies, and procedures

The Person

• Minimum 3 years experience in an end to end Accounts Payable function
• Experience with Excel and a large ERP system is essential 
• High level of attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
