AddressScotts Group, Artarmon NSW is seeking an experienced ‘Accounts Payable Officer’ to join our team.
An opportunity has become available for an Accountant (Accounts Payable) to join our Finance team.
Key Accountabilities:
- Prepare payments in time according to payment schedule.
- Verification of invoices.
- Update and maintain vendor database in a timely manner.
- Ensure all weekly/monthly report deadlines are met on a timely basis.
- Preparation and monthly review of allocated balance sheet reconciliations, including ongoing reviews of standard costing entries and analysis.
- Manage the budget and cost control systems and assist departments with budget management.
- Responsible for the preparation of the monthly/quarterly management pack and departmental cost centre reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual finance budget and business plans.
- Assist business process development and project management.
- Assist external and internal audit.
- Other adhoc reporting and analysis as required.
Qualifications and Attributes:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong MS excel skills.
- Ability to multi-task and to work within strict deadlines and reporting timetables.
- Ability to identify business related processes requiring improvement.
- Approachability in dealing with internal and external parties.
- Automotive experience preffered.
