Your New Role
Based at frank green Operations in Dandenong South our Accounts Payable Officer is a key player in our finance team. You'll be ensuring the seamless flow of financial transactions, collaborating closely with the Finance Manager, you'll tackle various responsibilities, such as invoice processing, reconciliations, and maintaining positive vendor relationships. Your attention to detail and financial acumen will contribute to the overall efficiency of our finance operations.
Your Day to Day
- Efficiently process a high volume of invoices, adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Manage vendor relationships, address inquiries, and promptly resolve discrepancies.
- Conduct regular reconciliations of vendor statements, ensuring accurate accounting records.
- Process employee expense reports, verify receipts, and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Execute payment runs in multiple currencies, managing cash flow considerations.
- Stay updated on taxation and regulatory changes, ensuring compliance in Accounts Payable activities.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, invoices, and payment documentation.
Your Skills
- Precise data review and analysis skills for accurate financial transactions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for professional interactions with stakeholders.
- Proven ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Team player with a positive collaborative attitude.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
- Sound analytical and problem-solving skills for informed decision-making.
- Adaptability to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of processing Foreign Exchange payments in multiple currencies across entities.
