Founded over 30 years ago and listed on the Australian Stock Exchange, our client is a major distributor of consumer electronics accessories in Australia and New Zealand. The company serves various sectors, including retail, telecommunications, B2B, and kiosks.
With a long-standing staff member set to leave in a couple of months, our client is seeking a permanent replacement to start in the next few weeks. This will ensure a smooth and thorough handover-an advantage that isn't always possible in many other situations.
Your responsibilities include:
- Coding and matching stock invoices to purchase orders
- Ensuring Opex invoices are correctly allocated to general ledger accounts
- Uploading banking transactions for invoice matching
- Reconciling monthly bank statements
- Supporting accounts receivable with invoice processing and payment collections
- Managing vendor relationships
- Processing employee expense
- Assist with audits, maintaining meticulous AP records, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations
About you:
Ideally, we are seeking someone available for full-time hours. However, for the right candidate, the client is willing to consider offering school hours, approximately 32 hours per week. Additionally, we require a minimum of 2 years of similar experience, with at least 6 months of that experience being from a business based in Australia.
