Working with a long established and successful Australian company, you will join a stable finance team who work well together. You will take ownership of the new retail apparel line within the team and enjoy working within the current business structures and be part of the team contributing to a move to a new system to support future growth.The ResponsibilitiesWith a focus on Accounts Payable, this Finance Officer position will take ownership of the apparel retail brands representing one division of a wider agriculture business. Responsibilities include;
- Management of shared finance mailbox
- Data Entry (Greentree)
- Matching payment files with physical invoice records
- Manage two payment runs weekly
- Reconcile and process bank statement and Shopify transactions
- Corporate Credit Card reconciliation
- Supplier reporting
- Monthly inter-compay recharges
- Debtor reports
- Scanning & filing

If you are an experienced Finance Officer and enjoy Accounts Payable then this is the role for you! At this time the systems are more manual and do require data entry, however, as the new ERP system and eDocs systems are implemented this requirement will reduce. Ideally you will possess the following attributes;
- Accounts Payable experience essential
- Greentree, Apparel21 & Shopify advantageous but not essential
- Retail accounts experience also advantageous
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Ability to work autonomously and work as part of a wider national team
- Excellent communication skills
