Due to an internal transfer, we are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our friendly Finance team. Reporting to the Financial Accountant, this is a permanent full time position.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Full-function Accounts Payable, including receiving invoices, data entry, reviewing supplier statements, communicating with suppliers and other stakeholders and supplier statement reconciliation
- Analysing current Accounts Payable processes and making recommendations to improve processes (in consultation with the relevant stakeholders)
- Post transactions to journals and ledgers
- Code phone accounts for payment
- Process and reconcile Company credit cards
- Adhoc accounts/finance duties as required
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years experience in a high volume Accounts Payable role (essential)
- A working knowledge of accounting methods and accounting software systems
- Strong numeracy, literacy and excel skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management, including a sense of urgency, the ability to meet deadlines and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Strong attention to detail
- Flexible approach to work with a friendly, team focused attitude
- Willingness to assist other team members where necessary
- ERP experience in Pronto highly regarded

Only candidates with Accounts Payable experience will be considered. Whilst we appreciate the experience of those with broader finance / accounts experience, we are seeking a candidate who is looking for a stable and long-term Accounts Payable position.
