About the Role:
Reporting to the Accounts Receivable & Payable Manager, the Accounts Payable Officer, will be responsible primarily for Accounts Payable management and administrative duties. You will be proficient in managing invoices, reconciling accounts and ensuring timely payments. This is a full-time permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing a high volume of invoices, ensuring they are entered accurately
- Account & Statement reconciliations
- Dealing with supplier queries and concerns
- Managing the Accounts Payable inbox
- Preparing batch payments for weekly payments
- Reporting
- Ad hoc accounts and administrative duties
- Coordinate supplier invoice approvals following company guidelines.
- Coordinate supplier payments within terms.
- Reconcile and process company credit card transactions.
- Process payments in the bank.
About You:
- Have prior experience within a similar role
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to quickly identify discrepancies.
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities, meet deadlines, and exercise sound judgement under pressure
- Confident communication style (verbal and written) with the ability to liaise with diverse stakeholders at all levels
- Intermediate or Proficient application skills across the entire Microsoft Office Suite
- Works well within a team and assists in balancing work load
- Experience with accounting systems
- High levels of initiative, curiosity, and display of a positive “can-do” attitude
- Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
