The opportunity
Altec Australia, with its parent Altec Inc, is a global leader in the design, manufacture, sales and service of truck-mounted insulated utility equipment, including elevated work platforms and pole borers.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, as an Accounts Payable Officer you will be a key part of our small administration and reception team with a primary focus on Accounts Payable and job scheduling functions.
The role
- Processing, seeking relevant approvals and coding of supplier invoices
- Scanning and electronic document control
- Creation of Job Cards/Build Folders
- Vendor Statement Checks
- Vendor Banking Verifications
- Stationary Orders
- Scheduling of Production Service Jobs
- Reception duties (answering phones & visitors)
- Phone and Email Correspondence
- Printing and filing
- Ad-hoc activities
About you
- Accounts Payable and/or office/administration experience preferred
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn and undertake tasks outside of basic scope of role
- Punctual and reliable attendance
- Must have a driver's License
The role is a permanent onsite full-time position where training will be provided to bring you up to speed
