About the Role
As a member of our Finance team in our East Brisbane office (4169), reporting to the Financial Controller, your core responsibility is to ensure the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments to vendors and contract partners. Provide a high level of customer service is to maintain positive relationships. Ensuring payment terms, and reconciling accounts are also vital aspects of your role. Your focus on financial accuracy and efficiency directly contributes to the company's daily operational success.
You play a critical part in ensuring that Woollam’s Projects teams’ goals are realised through facilitating key parts of the invoicing process on time and collaboratively.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Invoice and payment processing
- Reconciliation of corporate credit cards and Accounts Payable transactions
- Stakeholder and vendor relations (Contract Partners, Trades, Suppliers etc)
- Providing office support and Reception cover when required
Your skills and experience
- Relevant formal qualifications or previous experience in Administration, Accounting or similar [desirable, not essential]
- Ability to work autonomously and manage conflicting priorities
- High level of communication skills, written and verbal
- Exposure to Accounts Payable
- Knowledge of end-to-end Accounts Payable [desirable, not essential]
- Proficiency with Microsoft office, including Microsoft Excel
- Sound customer service skills
- Good communication skills, written and verbal
- Attention to detail
- Experience in Construction [desirable, not essential]
