Position Summary
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable/Receivable Officer to join our Finance Team. Reporting directly to the CFO, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of their financial processes, in line with company standards and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable:
- Manage all aspects of Accounts Payable function, ensuring vendors are paid accurately and on time.
- Process invoices, payment runs, and reconciliations in accordance with company policies.
- Address Accounts Payable queries promptly and professionally, escalating issues as needed.
- Liaise with suppliers to meet invoice requirements for GST processing.
- Document changes in processes and procedures to maintain best practices.
- Oversee collections from customers, ensuring payments are made within agreed terms.
- Process all accounts receivable transactions accurately.
- Prepare and send invoices, statements, credit notes, and adjustments to clients.
- Maintain integrity and accuracy of the Accounting System.
- Assist with month-end processing and investigations.
- Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure efficiency and improvement opportunities are identified and acted upon.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial records.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and collection regulations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
