Accounts Receivable Clerk - Junior

We have an exciting opportunity for a permanent full-time Accounts Receivable Clerk commencing March 2024 working onsite based in Stapylton, Gold Coast.  

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Process credit card payments and refunds via EFTPOS terminal
• Reconciliation of incoming funds and ensure correct allocation of customer payments
• Process daily collections and credit claims in POS system
• Debtor account reconciliation
• Follow up with debtors on payments (via phone and email)
• Preparation/processing of monthly debtor statements
• Ensure debtor’s profiles are up to date
• Respond to and investigate customer enquiries in a timely manner
• Support the Finance Team

Ideally you will have:

• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role (Candidates with accounting knowledge or background are preferred).
• Thorough attention to detail
• The ability to stay on top of tasks, meet deadlines and respond quickly to changing priorities
• Excellent and tactful communication skills
• Punctuality and work commitment
• Strong desire to learn and adapt to our current and new systems
• Intermediate computer skills
• High integrity to handle sensitive and confidential information
