Accounts Receivable Clerk

We have an exciting opportunity for a permanent full-time role in Accounts Receivable.
TheAccounts Receivable Clerkwill be working onsite based in Stapylton, Gold Coast.  
As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will have the opportunity to play a pivotal role and be an integral part of the Finance Team.
Your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Reconciliation of incoming funds and ensure correct allocation of customer payments
• Process daily collections and credit claims in POS system
• Debtor account reconciliation
• Follow up with debtors on payments (via phone and email)
• Preparation/processing of monthly debtor statements
• Aged debtors reporting
• Credit application checks and new debtor account set-up
• Ensure debtors’ profile are up to date
• Monitor credit limit with exceptional reporting
• Manage trade credit insurance reporting, claims and renewals
• Liaise with debt collection team and solicitors
• Respond to and investigate customer enquiries in a timely manner
• Support the Finance Team

Ideally you will have:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Thorough attention to detail
• The ability to stay on top of things, meet deadlines and respond quickly to changing priorities
• Superb organisational skills with the ability to manage workload and prioritise tasks
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Punctuality and work commitment
• Strong desire to learn and adapt to our current and new systems
• Intermediate computer skills
• High integrity to handle sensitive and confidential information
