We specialise in the supply of general hardware, agricultural chemicals, fertiliser, rural merchandise and engineering services to both the agricultural and building industries in North Queensland. We have been in business for over 75 years and are one of the largest employers in the Mareeba Shire.
About the position:
We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk / Receptionist to work in our primary support office in central Mareeba. The hours are either 8.00am to 4.30pm or 08.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
In addition to the AR duties, the position also includes general reception duties including daily banking, postage and filing. You will also be responsible for processing new credit applications, allocating customer payment assisting with debtor account management whilst maintaining a positive attitude and providing first class customer support.
About you:
Most importantly you are a good communicator and possess excellent interpersonal and time management skills. You are a respectful and engaging individual who possess a positive can-do attitude as this is important for our front-line customer facing role.
From a technical perspective we would like to see proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. Previous experience in a similar role especially if you have experience of MYOB or SAP would also be highly regarded.
