Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Accounts Receivable process, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices.
- Monitor customer accounts for non-payment, delayed payment, and other irregularities.
- Resolve payment issues and negotiate payment plans with clients as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of all collections activities and update customer accounts.
- Prepare regular reports on the status of Accounts Receivable and provide insights to the finance team.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address billing discrepancies.
- Assist in developing and implementing credit control policies and procedures.
- Perform credit checks on new and existing customers to assess risk and establish credit limits.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
- Proven experience in Accounts Receivable and/or collection roles within a high-volume environment.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
