We are seeking an exceptional Accounts Receivable Officer to join our dynamic team and act as a valuable team member to support the success of our Griffith Hack business. As a member of our centralised IPH Limited finance shared services team, you will be responsible for the receipting and reconciliation of all cash receipts within the Griffith Hack entities and provide Accounts Receivable support within the Finance Team.
The role requires a meticulous, organized, good communicator and efficient operator who can manage and prioritise tasks which at times can be complex, whilst performing against conflicting deadlines.
Key responsibilities include:
- Prompt processing of receipts for all entities (excluding Trust Account)
- Processing of credit card payments when required
- Updating currency rates in Inprotech on a daily basis
- Applying credits and processing client/matter transfers
- Daily Bank statement and daily balance downloads
- Manage and investigate Unidentified receipts
- Manage and investigate Unapplied funds
- Manage and ensure accuracy of any retainer funds received,
- Issuing Client receipts upon request
- Providing support to the Collections team
- Month end statement generation to ensure e-Statements are emailed in a timely manner
- Processing bad debt write offs as directed by the EGM or Finance Manager
- Client account reconciliations
- Managing helpdesk tickets on a daily basis.
- Such other duties as directed by the Company from time to time commensurate with your role as an employee of the Company.
Knowledge and Experience:
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Sound knowledge of accounting concepts.
- Sound technical skills including Word and Excel.
- Prior experience with D365 is highly advantageous.
- Well-developed communication skills (written and verbal).
- High level “customer service” approach (internal/external clients).
- Time management/organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines whilst remaining calm under pressure.
- Well-developed ability to self-manage.
- Essential time-management and prioritisation skills.
- Ability to maintain professional image and customer service focus within a high-volume environment.
