Accounts receivable responsibilities

The Company

This stable organisation has a history spanning over 50 years and operates worldwide. With the Australian Head Office located at Parramatta CBD, this friendly team is now seeking a self-motivated, self-directed individual who has the experience to start adding value straight away within the accounts receivable/credit space. This position is requiring you to work 4 - 5 hours per day or 3 full days. Initially, temporary for the first 3 months.

The Position

Reporting to the Financial Accountant this position will see you responsible for a number of pivotal functions including;

• Daily allocations, banking of cash/cheques
• Daily posting of bank deposits
• Bank reconciliations
• Weekly banking deposits
• Co-ordinate remittance advise to ensure accurate postings and account reconciliation
• Liaise extensively with sales advising on aging accounts (weekly)
• Collections via email and phone
• Provide monthly statements of accounts
• Releasing orders
• Setting up new accounts and update customer database
• Generating weekly reports for cash flow
• End of month reports & forecasts
• Account Enquiries

The Candidate

• Enjoy building and developing customer relationship
• Solid experience within Accounts Receivable/Credit Control
• SAP or Dynamics preferred
• Self-motivated and positive work ethic
• Attention to detail and accuracy is essential
• Time management and ability to work autonomously
• Ability to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders
