The Accounts Receivable Officer is responsible for ensuring the timely collection of outstanding payments, and finance-related administrative tasks, under the direction of the Financial Accountant. Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Monitor and process incoming payments promptly and accurately.
- Prepare bank reconciliations, resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Take proactive steps to recover overdue debts.
- Reconcile Accounts Receivable ledger to general ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness, investigating discrepancies when they are identified.
- Setup and maintain new client/customer accounts and conduct due diligence as and when required.
- Foster positive relationships with clients/customers to facilitate a smooth payment process.
- Collaborate with other departments to address client concerns and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
- Responding to queries from suppliers, customers and staff.
Essential:
- Experience with high volume Accounts Receivable
- 2-5 years in similar role
- Intermediate knowledge of the Office 365 suite of products.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
About You:
Exposure to Epicor ERP (preferred) or other ERP systems.
- Experience working in a manufacturing, FMCG, construction or industrial environment.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
- Proud of their own work.
