We’re looking for Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Finance team. The Accounts Receivable Officer facilitates the preparation of timely and accurate reconciliations with Services Australia and the Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA), liaises with Residential Services and Community Health and Care to correct any variances between claims and payments received, update client funding related records and account for monthly CDC entries.

A typical day will have you:

• Ensuring Residential Services and Home Care Services maximise and recognise all available income from the government in a timely manner
• Processing Direct Debits on our financial systems
• Reconciliation and correction of all variances identified for both residential services and home care with Services Australia and DVA
• Reconciliation of all RACS id’s expected funding to Medicare Payment Statements and follow-up of variances
• Managing the Review and accounting of the CDC register for Homecare on a monthly basis
• Addressing and liaising with clients on their accounts queries
• Undertaking other finance tasks as required

We’re looking for someone with:

• A tertiary qualification in accounting, commerce, or business studies or a related field (Desirable)
• Demonstrated experience in Accounts Receivable / Reconciliations 
• A strong ability to analyse, problem-solve, and work within tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy
• Advanced MS Office skills with the ability to learn new system skills
• Knowledge of EPICOR and experience within health, aged care, and/or community service sector (desirable)
