• Employment Term: Fixed Term, Part Time Maternity Leave Vacancy - 32 hrs per week

• Remuneration: $52.95 - $56.74 p/h + Penalties & Allowances

We’re seeking internal expressions of interest for an experienced clinical leader to join the Critical Care Services Team, as a Clinical Nurse, on a Part Time Maternity Leave vacancy.
Your role:
As an experienced nurse, you will present with well-developed communication and customer service skills, with a passion for delivering person-centred care through a strong alignment to our values. You’ll be adept at managing conflicting priorities whilst remaining patient-focused under time pressures.
As a Clinical Nurse in this department, you will

• Provide Exceptional customer service skills focused on exceeding patient expectations
• Commit to achieving optimal patient outcomes through the use of effective clinical knowledge and professional standards of practice
• Apply clinical practice that ensures and promotes a safe environment for optimal patient health
• Effectively and accurately exchange, retrieve and manage information relevant to your role
• Exercise authority through appropriate decision making
• Apply sound knowledge of principles of clinical and workplace risk management, including incident management

You will demonstrate:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Critcal Care Ward/ICU
• Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent and AHPRA registration
• Demonstrated ability to provide leadership, support and mentorship
• An ability to coordinate and prioritise your wards clinical load
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and quality improvement
• A keen interest in leadership
