The Role
Joint Health Command (JHC) are seeking an experienced Workforce Manager to undertake ADF workforce management activities across JHC. This position oversees ADF establishment management and Reserve administration, including budgets, bids and administration. You will work collaboratively in an integrated team of both civilian and military staff to support the JHC.
As the JHC ADF Workforce Manager you will undertake a range of tasks such as:
- Lead and manage a small team of Reserve personnel providing reserve day administration for JHC, including utilising financial delegations and providing reserve expenditure reports.
- Manage ADF workforce administration for the Command including postings, vacancies, SERVOP C contracts and position management changes (within policy guidelines).
- Provide expert advice on ADF workforce queries and requests.
- Build and maintain relationships within the Command and across Defence, including Service point of contacts (both Regular and Reserve) and provide excellent customer service and representation for JHC Workforce at meetings and forums (as required).
About our Team
Joint Health Command (JHC) provides health care to ADF members and ensures the health preparedness of ADF personnel for operations and deployable elements of JHC for deployment in support of operations. The JHC Workforce team are responsible for APS recruitment, guidance on HR policy and the management of the APS and ADF Health Workforce. The team is comprised of APS, ADF and Contract employees all working on different priorities to achieve a common goal.
