AddressThis is a mine-site based role located in Australind, no accommodation is provided. It is 30-35 hours per week, start times and workdays are flexible.
About the Role:
- Conducting weekly, monthly and quarterly water sampling
- Water quality testing,analysis and monitoring
- Accurate data entry into site databases
- Mine Site Rehabilitation: seed collection, tree planting, ordering tube stock, weed control and herbicide application
- Mapping and Spatial Planning: Survey and map areas where needed and those that have been rehabilitated and ascertain conditions
- Monitoring for erosion or sedimentation of environmentally sensitive areas
- Assisting in the site laboratory, sample preparation, testing, X-ray analysis and monitoring
- Document control
- General administrative duties across multiple departments
- Previous experience in a similar role – environmental, administration or horticulture
- Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
