About the role
Based in the heart of the city in our Chifley Square Head office, this position provides administrative support to the People, Culture and Workplace (PCW) team and looks after visitors for Alliance Australia and Business Sydney.
Please note: Due to the nature of this role, this role is based 5 days a week in the office between 8.30am and 5pm. You must be able to attend the office during these times.
Main responsibilities include:
- Receptionist on Level 6, 8 Chifley Square
- Administrative tasks for the People and Culture team including but not limited to contract preparation, employee correspondence, on-boarding and off-boarding activities and compliance checks
- Data entry and administrative tasks associated with Human Capital Management implementation and ongoing maintenance of employee and contractor records
- Assisting with reporting
- Assisting with the development of templates
- Maintaining systems, databases and registers on behalf of People and Culture
- Assisting with reconciliation of corporate credit cards and processing of invoices
- Organising travel and accommodation
- Triaging of enquiries to the HR Inbox
- Assist with Work, Health and Safety tasks including but not limited to incident notifications, audit of car kits, driver documentation, WFH documentation and policy updates
- Researching and providing assistance to People and Cultureprojects and initiatives as required
To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with the following:
- Previous administration experience supporting a team
- Highly organised with the ability to juggle multiple tasks
- Excellent communication, relationship building and interpersonal (both written and verbal)
- Technologically savvy
- Proficiency in Word, Outlook PowerPoint and Excel
- Ability to work in a team setting and autonomously
- Ability to display initiative
