Professional Development - Grow your career across our National network! About the role We are seeking a full or part-time Receptionist/Administration Clerk to work in our Ballina Day Surgery on a rotating roster between the hours of 6:30 am – 6:30 pm Monday to Friday.
About You We are seeking a highly organised, enthusiastic administrative professionals to join our Administration team.
To be successful you will be a well-presented individual who possesses excellent communication skills and enjoys being part of a busy environment. The ability to converse and be empathetic while managing a busy flow of admissions and discharges is a key skill needed for this role Responsibilities of this job may include: Admission scheduling processes to ensure appropriate bed management and utilisation All administrative duties associated with patient preadmissions, admissions and discharges including health fund eligibility checks and estimations Compilation and management of patient admission papers and clinical notes Managing incoming and outgoing calls to the front desk Providing a high level of professional customer service to patients, visitors and internal stakeholders, whilst maintaining confidentiality Responding to patient and doctor queries in a timely manner
