Why Your Role Matters:
The Administrator, Graduations and Prizes provides effective day-to-day administrative support within the Student Lifecycle team to ensure all services are provided efficiently to meet the operating needs of Student Services and Systems within the Division of the Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic.
Working as part of the Student Lifecycle team, this position is responsible for undertaking a range of high quality, customer focused, core business processes and communications. The Administrator, Graduations & Prizes, will primarily focus jointly on the central management of student records, graduations and prizes
Who You Are:
Our ideal candidate is comfortable in a fast-paced environment, working across several concurrent graduation ceremonies. They will be ready, willing, and able to jump in the deep end to ensure the smooth running of multiple events. The ideal candidate will be required to move and work across multiple locations around campus during ceremony periods. They may also be required to move resources around multiple locations to facilitate the operations of ceremonies. They will manage their workload effectively, fostering positive relationships both internally and externally.
• Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training and experience.
• Advanced time management, accuracy, attention to detail, organisational and problem-solving skills, including the ability to meet deadlines.
• Well-developed interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience providing effective customer service and support to clients at all levels.
• Highly proficient computer literacy with excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications and advanced numeracy skills.
• Ability to make sound judgements and work both independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated experience supporting and contributing to projects and initiatives.
• An understanding of and commitment to UNSW’s aims, objectives and values in action, together with relevant policies and guidelines.
• Knowledge of health and safety responsibilities and commitment to attending relevant health and safety training.
