POSITION PURPOSE
To provide high quality and holistic customer service and administration support to the retirement village management and residents on a day-to-day basis.
To provide a friendly face to welcome all visitors, contractors, staff, and residents to the village and to communicate regularly with the Village Manager to ensure the smooth running of the village.
To undertake higher duty relief during periods when the Village Manager is on leave or absent.
POSITION OBJECTIVES
- To complete administrative duties, including mail, phone enquiries, accounts payable and receivable requirements, collating reports, data entry, settlement requirements and annual safety inspections
- To maintain filing and office systems in accordance with legislative and organisational requirements
- To undertake meetings/workshops in a secretarial capacity including the recording of attendance, meeting minutes, and reflecting into appropriate databases
- To provide support to the wider leadership team
- To enhance the health, happiness, and wellbeing of residents.
- To create a welcoming environment and develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, providing in depth orientation for new residents and co-ordinating village activities.
- To facilitate the independent living of residents by delivering on-site services in line with organisational processes and policies and assisting residents with decisions and activities that support independence.
- To support village operation by managing client information systems.
