Hirondelle Private Hospital is iMH's second private mental health hospital. Hirondelle Private Hospital provides integrated mental health services to the Northern Sydney community. With 45 mental health beds, the team of psychiatrists, medical, nursing and allied health professionals provide a wide range of treatments across inpatient, outpatient and community settings through flexible care pathways.

About the Role
Are you deeply committed to the efficient and compassionate management of hospital Administration and Private Practice specialising in mental health services? We are in search of an experienced and dedicated Administration and Private Practice Manager to join our dynamic team. In this crucial role, you will have the opportunity to significantly influence the delivery of mental health care within our practice, ensuring the well-being of our patients while optimising operational efficiency.
Duties Include:
- Management of Hospital Administration and Private Practice, including staff.
- Financial reporting, invoicing and account management.
- Patient data management including enquiries, appointments and medical records.
- Liaising and assisting Drs as required.
- Drs Billing
- Doctor engagement, relationship development with local GP clinics, Practice Managers and Doctors for Private Practice service growth.
Essential Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in a senior administrative management position ideally within a hospital setting.
- Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability in maintaining confidentiality requirements.
- Familiar with Private Health Insurance, DVA, Workcover, Third-party and Medicare requirements related to billing and agreements.
- Intermediate to Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with Hospital Financial and Patient Management Systems.
- Understanding of the Workers Compensation Act and Medicare MBS item numbers.
- Experience with webPAS and/or Bluechip
DesirableRequirements
- Previous experience working in a private hospital setting.
