About the role
We have an opening for a part-time/flexi-time office admin/ Produce Quality Control team member with sales Administration and Produce business experience for our growing business in Australia.
Hours are 16 hours per week (days and times to be negotiated), with additional hours as required during busier parts of the year and for holiday cover. You will work from home the majority of the time with but with regular visits to produce packing facilities based around Hallam, Victoria. Your own transport is essential and will be recompensed.
Your commitment to outstanding customer service, attention to detail and drive for perfection will assist our team in maintaining customer satisfaction as well as helping to grow sales significantly. You will need the ability to work independently at times and have the drive and confidence to identify and raise issues with out of spec product or chase up information in relation to invoicing. Time management and prioritisation of tasks will be key, with the diverse nature of the role, which will involve both office time combined with time spent in packing facilities assessing quality and compliance to specification.
The unique nature of the role combined with flexibility and being a member of a small tight team will give this person the ability to excel and be an important member as the business grows.
You will be responsible for:
- Data entry, processing purchase orders & invoices to meet delivery schedules
- Produce quality inspection
- Maintaining sales workbooks
- Creating and lodging export documentation
- Liaising with customers and suppliers around orders, invoices and deliveries
- Chep account administration
Your Key Attributes:
- Sales administration
- Strong Data Entry Skills
- Invoicing and bookkeeping experience
- Produce and or Food compliance/Quality Control experience
- Xero software experience
- Export documentation experience
- Good team player and communicator
- Competent with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Word, Dropbox
- Organised with excellent office administration skills
- A friendly, and effective communicator who can communicate effectively with customers and suppliers
