Career Employment Group Inc is currently seeking applications for an Administration and Training Manager. This is a full time position - Monday to Friday, working in our Registered Training Organisation (RTO No. 40138) division. This position is based at our Head Office in Whyalla.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for managing assigned staff, overseeing the scheduling and implementation of training programs to meet contract and budget forecasts, having an active hands-on involvement with day to day administration operations, and overseeing the regulatory and compliance requirements with the assistance of our RTO Compliance Manager.
This is a great opportunity for someone who has substantial RTO or VET industry experience.
Key responsibilities in this role will be:
- Actively manage assigned staff to ensure they are undertaking their role accordingly.
- Develop knowledge of day to day administration operations and assistance administration officers when required
- Liaise with government departments and other divisions within CEG to ensure smooth operations.
- Monthly monitoring of student numbers and units completed.
- Oversee quality management, compliance and funding requirements across all accredited training operations
- Effective and efficient management of planning and meeting client training requirements.
- Actively monitor KPI’s for staff and address any concerns.
- Connect with industry tasks forces to increase their awareness of CEG-Training Partnerships and Training programs.
- Provide strong leadership functionality including the provision of advice, problem solving, coaching and supporting department staff.
- Attend monthly CEG-Training Partnerships management meetings and provide report as required.
To be successful in the role, you will have:
- Minimum 5 years of current management experience, ideally in an RTO or high level administration
- Experience managing a team of people, and also being a hands-on leader
- Proven ability to read and interpret standards and guidelines
- Exceptional working knowledge of the Microsoft office suite
- Quality customer service skills
- Time management and prioritisation skills to work in a fast paced environment
- Be innovative with technology and accepting of changing work practices
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment as well as autonomously
- A strong work ethic and positive attitude
Some intrastate travel will be required to service regions including Port Lincoln, Roxby Downs and Adelaide, however a pool car and travel allowance is provided.
This position will require background screening and a pre-employment medical inclusive of drug testing.
