ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our established and professional administrative team. In this role, you will work closely with our team to ensure the accurate and timely completion of routine and administrative tasks that are vital to the operational success of the business.
This role requires someone who has strong attention to detail and accuracy; able to work under pressure and creatively problem-solve. Ability to multitask and is a strong communicator who is extremely well organised to assist the team with the smooth daily operations of the office. This is a hands-on position and a practical role that will see you transition between a range of tasks throughout the day.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform daily reconciliation of customer transactions and balance accounts for all branches.
- Assist with data entry onto Xero Accounting Software for accounts and invoices.
- Provide support in handling customer complaints and disputes, ensuring timely resolution.
- Aid in managing claims related to vehicle damages and accidents.
- Assist with customer accounts and debt collection processes.
- Support administration tasks related to vehicle sales.
- Generate reports from our Rental Car system for analysis and decision-making purposes.
- Maintain regular communication with branches and suppliers to ensure efficient operations.
- Provide administrative support to Directors and Senior Staff.
- Undertake general administration tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in an administrative role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software (e.g., Xero).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in data entry and reconciliation tasks
- High level of attention to detail and ability to use good judgment
- Excellent data entry, report writing skills and high level of accuracy
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Exceptional commitment to confidentiality and professionalism
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
Located at our Head Office - Cambridge, TASMANIA
Rostered: Monday to Friday - 38hour week
