Abate is a family owned and operated business and has been helping protect commercial and residential properties for over 20 years. Abate’s expertise services spans from, installation and service of fire safety products and equipment backed up with a comprehensive range of fire services from engineering advice to fire safety training.
The Role
Abate is in search of a part-time Administrative Assistant, ideally with availability for 3 or 4 days a week, to assist with the smooth operations of our office. This role entails a variety of tasks, including managing correspondence, organising documents, engaging with clients, issuing compliance documentation, and providing general administrative support. This position presents a great entry-level opportunity for someone aiming to start or grow their skills within an administration role.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, a good telephone manner and a professional presentation. You must be a team player, with a positive attitude. Experience in an office environment is preferable, but not essential as training will be provided. Your professionalism, enthusiasm and your “can do” attitude are essential to your success in this role.
Your key duties:
- Data entry and issuing compliance documentation
- General Administrative duties (filing, emailing, photocopying, scanning etc.)
- Provide admin support to General Manager, Director and Admin Team.
- Maintaining stock of office supplies
- Answering the phone, transferring calls & passing on messages.
- Keeping the reception area and kitchenette clean.
