Sea School International is an RTO that provides recreational and commercial boating courses with several campuses across Australia. We are looking for an Administration Assistant for full time position (9 am - 5 pm Monday to Friday), reporting to the Business Manager and Director at our Head Office in Newport.
Job tasks:
- Support the Business Manager and the administration team in their role
- Telephone enquiries, referrals and follow-ups
- Student database administration
- Maintenance and support of student management and assessment software
- Document scanning, uploading, printing and collating
- General office operations, including keeping the training rooms and office clean
- Coordinating student resources
- Data entry, including processing learner questionnaires and outgoing mail
- Following up on overdue invoices and taking payments
- Informing students of any updates on courses
Skills and experience:
- Attention to detail, accuracy and efficiency
- Excellent computer skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Initiative and problem solving
- Good communication skills
- Customer service skills
- Time management skills
- Knowledge of the marine industry would be advantageous
